Monte Carlo Study of the Property of Multi-gap Resistive Plate Chambers

Abstract: Monte Carlo method is used to simulate the process of avalanching and signal collection of the Multi-gap Resistive Plate Chambers (MRPC) . The result is compared with experimental data to probe the detection efficiency and signal amplitude of MRPC. The effect of different conditions is also discussed.
