MICROSCOPIC STUDY FOR SPONTANEOUS FISSION OF 8Be

Abstract: On the basis of the cluster shell model of double well,a new method for subs-tracting the kinetic energy of the relative motion of the fission fragments has beenproposed,and in this way the potential energy curve for spontaneous fission of 8Be-has been calculated.In the calculation,the effects of the coulomb potential and thespurious states of the motion of the center of mass have been considered properly.The results can qualitatively explain the metastable property of 8Be.It seems that the method proposed in this paper might serve as a way to describe the fisson processin microscopic study.
